Born and raised in New York City, Marlon McWilliams began creating art at an early age. With influences drawn from comics, graffiti art, dreams, hallucinations and things of the everyday,  his work is appreciated by collectors from all walks of life. In 2003 after graduating from the Atlanta College of Art (2002) with a focus in painting and illustration, he made his way westward to sunny California. His artwork is an uncompromising mixture of post-psychedelia, cartoon surrealism, and social commetary. The carnival like atmosphere of his paintings, drawings, and illustrations allows the audience a glimpse into the chaos, serenity, and idiosyncrasies of these parallel realms. Marlon lives a humble existence in Los Angeles, California.
